Edward brings extensive experience spanning industrial development consulting, investment management and financial analysis. He holds an MSc from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and a Master of Financial Engineering (MFE) from the NUS Risk Management Institute. His professional qualifications include China Registered and Certified Fund Manager and China Certified Securities and Futures Analyst.

From 2019 to 2024, Edward held consulting leadership roles at Nanjing University Urban and Rural Planning Research Institute Co., Ltd. and Modern Consulting Co., Ltd., where he led master planning, industrial planning and industrial park development projects for local governments across the Yangtze River Delta. His work involved advising government agencies and state-owned enterprises on regional industrial development, industrial value chains, industrial park operations and management, as well as policy implementation and development strategies.

Earlier in his career, Edward served as an Investment Director and Fund Manager at Xiangcai Futures Co., Ltd. and Nanjing Harbor Asset Management Co., Ltd., focusing on investment research, IPO analysis, market developments and the establishment and management of hedge investment funds. He began his career as a Process Engineer at Chartered Semiconductor in Singapore.
