Oct 24, 2024On October 10, 2024, the inaugural “SIG Cup” China-Singapore Enterprise Basketball Invitational Tournament, organized by SIG, officially kicked off in Suzhou, China. This four-day event attracted several basketball teams from enterprises in both China and Singapore, including Singapore Lion City Sports Club, Standard Chartered, and Qichacha. On the basketball court, they showcased their skills and team spirit, competing for glory.
After intense competition, Yingke Team emerged as the champion with their outstanding performance. Lion City Sports Club Team secured second place, while Upstreaming Team claimed third. Each team displayed remarkable perseverance and cooperation, making the tournament thrilling and full of exciting moments.
After the match, we were honoured to have Mr. Lim Saa Tee, President of Lion City Sports Club, Mr. Ang Kian Teck, Vice President of China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park Development Group, and Ms. Guan Xinxin, Director of SIG, presented awards to the winning teams.
The “SIG Cup” was more than just a sports competition; it served as a bridge for enhancing communication and cooperation between Chinese and Singaporean enterprises. Through this event, SIG aimed to create a relaxed platform for companies to interact, fostering greater cultural exchange and business collaboration. Beyond the court, the participating enterprise representatives also discussed future cooperation opportunities, deepening mutual understanding and trust.
