Consul General of Singapore in Xiamen Visits Nanchang to Explore New Opportunities in Economic and Trade Cooperation

On the morning of March 2, Mr. Chng Tze Chia, Consul-General of Singapore in Xiamen, led a delegation to visit Nanchang and held talks with Mr. Zhao Jie, Member of the Standing Committee of the Nanchang Municipal Party Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of Nanchang. The two sides conducted in-depth and pragmatic exchanges on strengthening bilateral economic and trade cooperation.

 

Vice Mayor Zhao Jie introduced Nanchang’s ongoing “8810” Action Plan for the modernization of key manufacturing industry chains, and expressed the city’s strong interest in enhancing cooperation with Singapore in advanced manufacturing, modern services, and other sectors. Consul-General Chng responded positively, highly commending Nanchang’s development achievements. He noted that the Consulate-General of Singapore in Xiamen will continue to serve as a bridge to promote deeper collaboration in trade, investment, and people-to-people exchanges.
