On September 8, the 25th China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT) grandly opened at the Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center. As one of the world’s most influential international investment events, this year’s CIFIT attracted delegations from over 120 countries and regions, as well as 11 international organizations, with exhibitions from 51 countries and regions, making it an important platform for international investment cooperation and exchange.

As an outstanding representative in Singapore’s corporate services sector, SIG Global was invited to attend the 5th RCEP Trade and Economic Cooperation Exchange. SIG Global’s Chief Operating Officer, Ms. Guan Xinxin, delivered a keynote speech titled “Singapore’s Investment Environment and Key Considerations for Chinese Enterprises Going Global ,with Case Studies.”

Drawing on her extensive practical experience, Ms. Guan Xinxin provided an in-depth analysis of the key considerations for Chinese companies investing and establishing operations in Singapore, including the policy environment, compliance requirements, market access, and taxation. She also shared successful experiences and strategies through typical case studies, illustrating how companies navigate the process of setting up and growing their presence.

She highlighted that Singapore, with its stable and transparent business environment, comprehensive legal and policy framework, and high-quality financial and infrastructure services, has become a crucial hub for Chinese companies expanding overseas. At the same time, careful planning of operational structures, business processes, and compliance management is essential for companies to establish smoothly and achieve sustainable growth, offering practical and insightful guidance for attendees.

In addition, SIG Global set up a dedicated exhibition area within the partner zone, showcasing its professional strengths and services in overseas expansion, investment facilitation, and HR compliance management, attracting numerous on-site visitors and potential partners for engagement and exchange.

In addition to her keynote speech and exhibition at the fair, Ms. Guan Xinxin was also invited to attend the concurrent event “Cross-Border ‘New’ Opportunities: Singapore-Fujian Bilateral Cooperation Promotion Conference.” The event featured distinguished guests, including Consul General Chuang Chih-chia from the Singapore Consulate-General in Xiamen, the Director of the Asia Division of the Fujian Provincial Department of Commerce, and Ma Guowu, Secretary-General of the Fujian Asia-Pacific Association, who came together to explore bilateral investment and cooperation opportunities between Singapore and Fujian.

At the conference, Ms. Guan Xinxin delivered a keynote speech on “Practices and Challenges in HR Management for Companies Expanding to Singapore.” She emphasized the significant impact of workplace cultural differences on cross-border enterprises, including management styles, communication methods, and incentive mechanisms. She also provided effective strategies for adaptation and management, helping companies better integrate into the local market.

Being invited to participate in CIFIT not only reflects SIG Global’s professional standing and strength in Singapore’s corporate services sector, but also highlights our role as a bridge in promoting China-Singapore economic and trade cooperation.

Looking ahead, SIG Global will continue to leverage its localized expertise in Singapore to support more Chinese companies in successfully expanding overseas, helping them explore broader growth opportunities in Singapore and the wider Southeast Asian market.
