SIG Empowers Local Enterprises to Expand into the Singapore Market
Sep 05, 2024
In December 2023, the “Excellent Service, Promoting Development” column of Suzhou News featured an in-depth report on how Suzhou Industrial Park is helping local enterprises accelerate their international expansion. SIG Tax & Accounting, a company with 15 years of rich experience in Singapore, was prominently highlighted in the report. Thanks to strong recommendations from Singapore’s Economic Development Board and Enterprise Singapore, SIG successfully established its presence in Suzhou Industrial Park earlier this year, becoming a key highlight of the feature.
The General Manager of SIG’s China division stated that, as a professional accounting firm, SIG provides comprehensive services to help businesses establish a presence in Singapore and expand throughout ASEAN. Over the past three years, SIG has supported hundreds of Chinese companies, particularly those from Suzhou, by providing crucial “going global” services, facilitating their smooth entry into the international market, especially Singapore.
SIG (Suzhou) is located on the 37th floor of the China-Singapore Building and has become an important hub for Suzhou enterprises expanding into Singapore. In addition to housing SIG and other specialized international investment service agencies, the park also features the Singapore-Suzhou Business Center, offering solutions for various challenges enterprises face when expanding overseas.
Xiao Xue, Deputy Director of the Investment Promotion Bureau of Suzhou Industrial Park, noted that with the assistance of professional teams like SIG, businesses can more easily secure overseas investments, whether it’s finding factory space, communicating with local institutions, or understanding relevant policies. Data shows that 102 Chinese companies have already established a presence in Singapore, spanning sectors such as biopharmaceuticals, semiconductors, advanced manufacturing, and AI, demonstrating the industrial strengths of Suzhou Industrial Park.
As globalization accelerates, an increasing number of Chinese companies are looking to international markets. Faced with new cultural contexts and complex regulatory environments, businesses need to comply with local laws and regulations to ensure long-term stability. In this context, SIG plays a critical role, not only providing informational support but also offering practical business services to help enterprises achieve greater success in global markets.
