Sep 05, 2024As the Chinese New Year approaches, employees of SIG Tax & Accounting in Singapore actively participated in a special charity event—helping elderly residents clean their homes. Like many other countries, Singapore faces the challenge of an aging population. This initiative was aimed at supporting elderly residents in Yishun District 3, ensuring they feel the warmth and care of society during the festive season. SIG employees decided to contribute their time and effort to bring convenience and joy to these elderly residents during the holiday.
Over the past two weekends, SIG employees visited six elderly residents in the Yishun community. They not only helped clean the seniors’ homes, repaint iron gates, organize kitchens, and clean windows and doors but also brought delicious snacks to share quality time together. These thoughtful actions were intended to make life a little easier for the elderly and ensure they feel the care and respect of the community.
Through this charity initiative, SIG hopes to spread more positive energy, showing care for the elderly and helping foster a warmer, more harmonious community.
